Buying an Electric Treadmill

Buying an Electric Treadmill

Now I guess after a few of my posts, you may have gotten a rough idea on some of the electric treadmills that are available in the market. I have to tell you that buying an electric treadmill would really depend on your own personal specific requirements. Some people do not even want to buy one because they prefer to just walk! Yes do you even know that brisk walking is also a good form of exercise? Nevertheless, if everybody thought this way nobody would buy treadmills anymore. The purpose of this post here is to recap some of the things which I have previously talked about on treadmills, from the electric ones to the non electric ones such as the Stamina InMotion Non electric treadmill.

So like I said, when you buy an electric treadmill, you have first got to know what you really want out of it. Are you going for something professional because you are a sportsman and need to train up or keep fit, or are you just looking for some way to lose weight and would like to exercise more? Honestly, the electric treadmill is not a cheap piece of equipment and the price for one of these can vary greatly from a few hundred dollars like the Weslo Cadence treadmill to the more moderately priced treadmills such as the Merit Fitness treadmill and the Horizon Fitness treadmill to the more expensive Bowflex series treadmill which cost over a thousand dollars. Do you really need to spend so much on something like a treadmill? If it is just losing weight, you should know that there are many other ways you can lose weight too, and you do not even need to buy an electric treadmill, a cheaper non electric treadmill would already do nicely. Then comes the accessories which I would also post about later. If you are going to spend lots of time on your treadmill, I would suggest that you spend some money to buy some accessories, such as maybe a book stand or something so that you can read a book while keeping fit!

Next up on my list of electrical treadmills is the Merit Fitness 725T Electric Treadmill. In summary, this cool electric treadmill has multiple windows for easy feedback access, seven preset programs, hand contact heart rate monitoring and even folds easily for storage. If you want to get in shape without breaking the bank, this cheap electrical treadmill is the treadmill for you!

Not only is it popular with recreational runners, this electric treadmill is a great buy for those who just want a simple walking work out as well. The Merit Fitness 725T offers a 1.25 CHP (continuous-duty horsepower) and maximum power of 2.25 THP. The electric treadmill also comes with a speed range of 1 to 10 miles per hour and an elevation range of 0 to 10 percent. There are also many readings that are displayed on this treadmill as you exercise, this includes the resistance level, speed, time, and distance. These are tracked by the electrical computer console on the treadmill, which consists of one center module and two side LED windows. Not only does the computer track your stats, it also contains five quick keys and five quick interval keys for instant adjustments to your work out.

Other good points about this electrical treadmill is that it comes with two cup holders, a thumb pulse heart rate monitor, a fold-up frame, and four preset programs: manual, intervals, rolling hills, and weight loss. The Merit Fitness 725T Electric Treadmill also comes with a moderate sized running area of 18 by 45 inches, belt thickness of 1.3mm, roller size of 42 mm and a running deck of 15 mm. Similar to other treadmills, the Merit Fitness 725T comes with an AeroSoft cushioning system. It is able to take a weight of 250 pounds but I am sure you won’t hit that kind of weight when you start using this baby! Comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame, 2 years warranty for the motor and 90 days warranty on parts and labor. Sounds like a fantastic electrical treadmill if you ask me.
